1. In what formats can image files be downloaded?

All images can be downloaded as .jpg files. Most are available in resolutions from 72 dpi to 300 dpi. Contact Us if you need a different format or resolution.

2. What rights are granted when I buy a "royalty-free" image file?
Royalty-free images can be used for any sort of publishing or printing project, whether electronic or in printed form. Individual images may not be resold in any form.

3. Can I use a photo that I pay for and download for anything forever?
As noted above, images purchased may be used for any printing or publishing project forever, but they may not be resold individual or as part of an image package.

4. Are image files guaranteed?
All of our image files are guaranteed. If you buy an image that does not fit your purpose, please contact us within 30 days of your original purpose, and we will issue a refund for that image.

5. How long does it take to receive printed products?
Printed products are manufactured and shipped from within the United States. Most products ship within 48 hours of your order. Our suppliers will advise you of the delivery time when you place your order. Delivery times and return policies are governed by our suppliers terms as posted on their web sites.

6. Are the printed products guaranteed?
All printed products are guaranteed by our suppliers and governed by the terms posted on their web sites.

7. What forms of payment do you accept for downloadable images and printed products?
Credit cards and e-checks are accepted for purchases of all products. For downloadable images, payments are processed by Paypal. For products, payments are processed through our suppliers.

8. I have a sunset photo to share. How should I submit it?
Please e-mail photos for our Guests Gallery as attachments in .jpg format, 72 dpi resolution, to guest-sunsets@jamestruett.com. We appreciate and acknowledge all contributions, and if you have a web site, we are happy to include a link to it. Please tell us a little about the photo in your e-mail, and let us know if you want a link to your web site.

9. Do I lose my rights to a photo when I submit it to you for your guest gallery?
We have a strict policy regarding copyright, and we will gladly assist you in any way to enforce your rights. Our Terms of Use clearly state that all images on our site are protected by copyright and that the original photographer is the owner of the copyright. Please contact us immediately if you feel your rights have been violated in any way in connection with any of your photos posted on our web site.

10. Where do you find such beautiful sunsets?
The majority of our sunset photos were taken in Baja California, Mexico, where some of the most incredible sunsets happen almost every day. We would love to hear about other spots for great sunsets. Please e-mail us!
